The product backlog is like a "wishlist" of the functionality desired for the e.Moped. This list can grow as we learn more about the components and the usage scenarios. It's items are numbered into priority levels which should help us decide which ones more important to be included in the future versions of the e.Moped
Product Backlog
01The first versions of electric motorcycle frame should be constructed with standard tubes and plates so that it can be easily made anywhere in the world without requiring expensive production processes.
02The frame should be compatible to as many different components as possible, making it easy for people to use different kind of motors, batteries, suspension forks depending on the availability of these.
03It's mechanics should be as simple as possible making it it easy for people to fix it or repair it.
04It's basic frame should remain open-source making it possible for any individual to download the "source geometry".
05Additional components should be attached to the frame to further customize it's looks and performance.
06It's power output should be limited so that there will be no legal requirements ("paper work") or permissions to ride the electric motorcycle on the street.
07A detachable battery is of great importance as it makes it easier for people to charge the batteries at home or office while the "electric charging grid" is not widely available.
